Kent is the founder and CEO of Future Energy LLC that has worldwide licenses for a novel nanotechnology branded as NaNoEOR™ and a novel downhole steam technology branded as eSteam™. Kent has been active in California's heavy oil industry focused on development and production, and is a member of the California Petroleum Association. Kent holds eight (8) thermal EOR patents. Kent holds a BSc. in Geology and a minor in real estate from the University of Texas at Austin.
Chris has extensive experience in hydraulic fracturing of tight/shale formations, reservoir stimulation, and new technology development. Chris worked for Schlumberger as a senior engineer and technology leader. Chris holds 31-patents, and 14-Schlumberger Awards. Chris holds
a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Michigan.
Rick is a Geologist/Petrophysicist and left OXY to start a geological and petrophysical consulting firm, Digital Petrophysics Inc. that worked for clients in California’s heavy oil projects. Rick holds a Masters in Geology from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Zhifeng Ren currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief for journals, Materials Today Physics and Soft Science. Dr. Ren holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Deborah is a Geologist/Petrophysicist and has worked in California's heavy oil business for over 30 years as a development geologist and petrophysicist. Deborah began her oil industry career as a geologist with Getty Oil and Mobil Oil. Deborah joined Digital Petrophysics Inc. and managed numerous heavy oil reservoir characterization projects. Deborah holds a Masters in Geology from California State University in Los Angeles.
Joe has over thirty-five years of extensive experience in heavy oil research with 16 years at Shell and 16 years at Chevron as a team leader of heavy oil in Bakersfield CA. Joe developed Chevron's Kern River's $5 million horizontal well testing facility for new steam technologies. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Oregon State University.
